Kallie Hartman

Kallie Hartman earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Penn State University and Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Bloomsburg University. Kallie’s Areas of Specialty and Interest include Autism, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Feeding and Early Language.

In addition to her formal educational training at the University level, Kallie continues to seek education in her areas of interest. Her trainings include:

  • DIR 101: An Introduction to DIR and DIRFloortime
  • Pediatric Swallowing and Feeding: The Essentials (Catherine Shaker)
  • Feeding Therapy: A Sensory Motor Approach (TalkTools)
  • Childhood Apraxia of Speech: The K-SLP Methods and Behavioral Strategies to Build Successful Vocal Communication (Nancy Kaufman)
  • Diagnosis and Management of Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) using Dynamic Tactile and Temporal Cueing (DTTC) (Edythe Strand)

Kallie has extensive experience working with children with sensory processing disorders and complex communication needs. She has worked in early intervention, private practice/outpatient pediatrics, and school settings and is passionate and knowledgeable about working with both children and their families to create functional, routines-based treatment plans.

Kallie recently relocated back to the Lehigh Valley to be closer to family after living and working in Washington, DC for 2 years. She loves to travel and has been to Canada, England, Scotland, and Croatia, as well as many US states. When she’s not working or traveling, she loves to read and exercise.
